Avastin (bevacizumab): Folfox or folfiri seem to be the best agents for advance colorectal cancer. In some patients the addition of Avastin (bevacizumab) can be added in some patients. I would expect her oncologist has discussed these options.

Use Immunochemo: Chemo combination therapy known to have limited activity with recurrence secondary to resistant stem cells. Immunochemo a better choice with use of Avastin, (bevacizumab) Erbotix in combination with chemo such as Gemzar. Newer monoclonal therapy employing derivatives of the post translational modification of the oncofetalprotein MUC5ac now entering Phase III appears to be enhanceing survival interval.
