Probably not...: Air used to inflate your colon & permit inspection during the colonoscopy procedure may persist for several hours. Post polypectomy syndrome can occur at sites of electrocautery. Microperforations, colon abrasions, laceration or trauma to adjacent solid organs may not be readily apparent at onset. Fever, bleeding, abdominal tenderness, weakness, vomiting are worrisome signs. Call GI doc for help.
