Doctors can recheck: If one has severe pain, and is normally in good health, some possibilities include: appendicitis (more often R lower abdomen), gall stone, kidney stone, pancreatitis, gastritis, twisted bowel, bowel spasm, lack of blood flow to bowel, nerve problem perceived as pain, drug effect, chemical or toxin effect, hereditary problem, etc... There is always a reason. Specialist help may be needed.
