A member asked:

Are the effects of sugar less bad on your health if you exercise alot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sugar: You want to eat healthy and not to exercise in order to "shake off" bad food. Excessive sugar use is not good in that it can transform into fat, it affects your dental health, etc. Go with moderation and try brown sugar instead of white, organic vs. Non-organic. If you do have problems controlling your blood sugar - go with sugar substitutes.
