Your general health.: Too much of anything is not good. A necessary part of your diet, sugars can be problematic in even moderate amounts. Sugar specifically feeds bacteria that cause decay, gives you empty calories leaving you still hungry, causes spikes in your energy levels (think of kids the morning after halloween), and can be a factor in type ii diabetes. Measure, monitor, moderate and consult with your md & dds.
