Maybe (not) . . .: Uti = urinary tract infection. So if you really had a uti, then symptoms should not come & go. In fact, they won't go away unless treated w/appropriate antibiotic or at least temporarily numbed up w/otc phenazopyridine. But sexually transmitted diseases/infections can also cause similar symptoms eg painful frequent urination w/sense of urgency. Sometimes you can feel std infection, other times not.
