How should one take care of a uti?

Urinary tract infect: Urinary tract infection = uti. 2 major subgroups are bladder & kidney infections. All have frequent painful urination w/sense of urgency in common. Kidney infection also has fever & one sided back pain. However, there are other reasons for these symptoms such as sexually transmitted diseases/infections. So if usual antibiotics aren't getting rid of symptoms, get urine culture & test for std/sti.
