Will get worse: Left untreated, a UTI infection usually gets worse and can lead to a kidney infection, which can be lifethreatening and may require hospitalization.

It won't: If you truly have a urinary tract infection, it is not going to get better on its own. The infection will continue to fester, then spread up to your kidneys. It can get into your blood and kill you, or you can lose your kidney function and end up on a kidney transplant list. Go to an urgent care or your doc and get a prescription for an antibiotic - much cheaper than a funeral or transplant.
