When b4 i can eat "real" food after getting braces?

Depends: It depends on what you call real food. You can expect some soreness when you first get braces put on so a soft diet will be better for the first day or so. You should avoid gum, chewy and sticky foods during the entire treatment time. Follow the recommendations of your orthodontist about food and cleaning your teeth.

2-3 days: Now that you have braces, there are some foods that you cannot eat until the braces are off. If the braces are newly placed, then it will probably take 2-3 days for your teeth/mouth to adapt to them and you can begin eating foods allowed by the orthodontist.
