Could you tell me if someone's dad has bipolar i disorder, can his child inherit it to a lesser extent?

Possibly: Bipolar disorder runs in families but there is no need to worry because it is not one hundred percent. You have to make sure that the person is aware of a slightly higher risk and intervenes early if some of the symptoms appear.
