Heart attack: It is important to know that a number of patients do indeed present with sudden death in the absence of previous history. A number of these people can be saved by onsite CPR followed by stabilization, cardiac catheterization and possible angioplasty and surgery. On close questioning some of these patients had experienced some symptoms but chose to ignore.
