Mental Health: Not necessarily but if you are trying to evoke sympathy something important is missing in your life. You may be longing for compassion and caring and possibly don't know how to obtain the love you long for. YES: If there is a recurring patternof making life hard, that's aproblem all by itself. There canbe many reasons for it and finding them outwould give one a choice about changing the pattern. Looking for sympathy is possible, but it might be more complicated. Best to see a good therapist and get help with it.
