Most are safe: Antibiotic ear drops don't get absorbed systemically into the bloodstream so most should be safe. The most well tolerated ear drops tend to be in the quinolone family with or without steroids (floxin, ofloxacin, ciprodex). This class of drugs have been shown to negatively impact cartilage development in puppies when given systemically... But drops are only topical and do not have this risk.
