Wha....?: This is a serious issue, so need to not cut corners on cost. You can save money on many things, but you get one body one time, do what needs to be done in order to obtain proper care. If you can't figure it out, talk with social worker about options.

Life-threatening: Cavernous sinus thrombosis is a life-threatening medical condition requiring heroic efforts to save the patient. It is a blood clot in a vein at the base of the brain caused by bacterial infection. It requires intravenous antibiotics administered in an intensive care setting. Sometimes surgery is required to save the life. Cost cannot be contained in this situation.
