CST: A cavernous sinus thrombosis is the formation of a blood clot within the cavernous sinus (which is a normal cavity at the base of the brain). The symptoms include a painful headache, a decrease or loss of vision, difficulty moving the eyes around, or stiff neck. There are other things that your doctor can check for, also. If you suspect you are having a cst, you should get checked by your dr.
