Knee sprain: Could be a minor knee sprain of this tendon, if this is the only finding on the mri, it sounds fairly minor. Also depends some on whether you had an injury to the knee or not. Mri's are based on fluid and increased signal can mean increased fluid in the tendon as can happen if there is an injury to it. Rest, non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, ice it down (rice) can help if it is swollen/hurts.
