Ascariasis: The most common are Albendazole (albenza), Ivermectin (stromectol) and mebendazole. Each can be curative with a single oral dose, but may produce abdominal pain and nausea. None of these is available in the usa without a prescription. Before being treated you should submit a stool specimen for diagnosis. If you are not reinfected this may cure itself if you really have ascaris.
