Ascaris lumbricoides: Ascaris lumbricoides is a large round worm that can infect humans. It is the most common type of worm infection in humans. It infects the intestines & sometime impacts the lungs. It may be asymptomatic or cause abdominal pain, worms in feces, cough, bloody sputum, fever & ulceration of intestines.
