If you are acive: If you are a relatively active person and walk rather then stay sedentary you dont have to worry too much about clots. Smoking while on birth control can cause it but otherwise unless you are prone to them i wouldnt worry about clot formation. Calf soreness could be from walking too much or straining your calf or even maybe hitting it without you knowing. If it becomes bothersome see ur physician.

Yes: Muscles in the calf can be overworked trying to compensate for a foot that overpronate blood clots in your age group are not common. Have you recently taken a long flight where you were not moving for quite a while?
