Grinding: Is usually associated with a joint having roded cartiledge, however, you describe a sensation versus actual grinding. I think an in office evaluation would be prudent with a podiatrist for a clinical exam so they can see exactly what you re talking about. Problems can include tendonitis with or without shin splints, a hyperprontaed foot may be contributory.
