I have a cold. my right lymph node is swollen. it's gone down, but now both sides of my neck hurt. feels like a sore muscle. is it related?

Lymph nodes: Do you have any other lymph nodes? If so it could be the cold. Check for other lymph nodes. If the cold is getting better try Motrin or tylenol (acetaminophen) and warm compresses for the sore muscles and this problem should resolve itself. If you have persistent fevers or chills you may need an antibiotic. See your doctor in that case. You should have a family doctor to do your check ups anyway at 30 yrs old.
