If u are symptomatic: Sometimes atrial fibrillation is caused by blood clots going to the lung, this can happen despite the presence of an ivc filter and especially if your inr is not therapeutic. You should get checked out since this can be life threatening.

Icv filter: Ivc filter would not protect you from complications related to afib meaning clot in the heart that can go to arteries. Filter stops clots going from legs to the lungs. Usually afib is treated with blood thinners. There is a type of filter that can go into the atrium but data on that is limited.
