A member asked:

My almost 4 month old son's hair has started thinning quite a bit. he was born with a lot of hair and it's thin. is this normal? should i worry?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Common finding: Most infants will lose the fine baby hair they are born with and replace it with a thicker hair over a year or more. It is not a sign of emerging vitamin deficiency or problem coming on. You will find the newer hair is easier to work with.
