Your anxiety: Over this issue is understood and not uncommon. However, the time frame described between the performance of the mammogram and the reporting of results is, if you think about it, a weekend at most. Try to be patient as most of the time the results will be benign.

Timing could be: Better. I appreciate waiting is difficult. Please discuss your concerns with the manager of the facility. Most locations complete callback patients the same day to provide some form of feedback more quickly. If you are still not satisfied, feel free to take your business elsewhere - just make sure the new facility will meet your needs - not just time, but accuracy as well.

Your facility's: timeframe is not unreasonable. You don't necessarily have to switch if you otherwise like your facility, the next time simply ask the tech, or the manager, if you can get the results before you leave. They should be able to accommodate you. If not, it is certainly within your right to switch to a place with same day results.Don't forget to bring your old mammos with you, or there will be a delay.
