Cancer: Is a rather uncommon cause of chest pain in someone your age. However, the best person to ask about the results of the study would be the clinician that ordered it.

Xrays can reveal: Cancer, but ct, MRI and pet are better. However, at your age, cancer is unlikely. Please discuss this with the clinician who ordered the chest radiography. Depending on your symptoms and clinical situation, you may benefit from additional workup.
