Mental Health: Clonazepam does not treat depression. It is a sedative and can actually be making depression worse.

Not antidepressant: Clonazapem is not an antidepressant and will not help with depression. It is used as an anti-anxiety medication . It is used as a rescue medication for anxiety. It is also known to be addictive. Be careful with it and follow your physicians recommendations.

Klonopin (clonazepam): Not sure if taking Klonopin (clonazepam) for sleep or anxiety/depression. By itself, it is not recommended to treat depression. Advise talking to your prescribing doctor to re-evaluate depression & get u the right treatment. Best wishes.
