No: If not you should see a dermatologist and if acne hormonal you may consider seeing an endocrinologist for eval for hormonal causes of acne like excess androgens, cushings syndrome or polycystic ovarian syndrome. Metrogel is a topical antibiotic and can help with acne but if hormonal there is better treatment available for that.

Whoa: Metrogel is Metronidazole and is a good rx for rosacea but not for acne.
