Scars are permanent: But you may have options to improve the scars appearance. Several lasers are available that may improve the scar appearance (fraxel, pixel, co2). A tissue filler can be used to decrease the depth of a scar. A deep "ice pick" scar and be excised so that it is less noticeable. Using a good skin care regimen is key to keep acne under control and prevent new pimples from forming.
