How dangerous is a swollen neck lymph node that went away with antibiotics? they did a ct and now want a biopsy.

Too much: Too soon. Nodes will take some time to "go back to normal". Rush to imaging will "still see things". Perhaps the tempo is fine, but you didn't tell me. I would ultrasound a node to see its character, and consider biopsy if it does not shrink and go away, but would not be in a rush to do that. If the node grows, does not go away, biopsy in order.
