Listen to your body: If you have had a physical exam and there is no structural problem, the pain and bulge are more likley to be related to your gastrointestinal tract. Advil can cause irritation of the stomach lining and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can cause constipation and dry stools which could increase gas and bloating. Some people with heartburn have a hiatal hernia which can be reduced with some moves before meals and bedtime.

Time to B seen: Since there is a mass and associated pain lasting for months...You need to see your primary care doctor.Its not going away, so, time to get this checked out.Good luck.

Maybe: The bulge may be a hernia. Doubt cardiac given your age and sex but a ct scan and or ultrasound of the abdomen would be a reasonable start.
