I can feel my body slowing down and wearing out. how do i get admitted to a research hospital? it's been recommended, but no one seems to know the process i need to go thru or what costs are involved.

It depends: Becoming involved in research studies depends on what conditions you're dealing with, and whether the studies are currently enrolling patients. I'm not sure who has recommended you be admitted to a research hospital, but if this was a physician i suggest you ask him/her what s/he had in mind. Generally people are referred by their own physicians to specific institutions, for specific care.

Clinicaltrials.gov: Clinicaltrials.Gov lists every ongoing randomized clinical trial in the us. If you meet inclusion criteria you can email the contact person at the nearest location to schedule an interview and assessment of eligibility. This is your only option unless you are acutely ill.
