A member asked:

Daughter has a white blister that covers the tip of her finger. we have no idea where it came from, and doesn't seem to hurt. should we be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I wouldn't worry: Could be from some very minor trauma she doesn't even remember, like a little pinch in something or a little friction blister. Anything concerning would be painful or at least irritating her. So i'd keep it clean, don't 'pop' it, and just keep an eye on it. On rare occassions I have seen blister like lesions from soaps, so if you have changed hand wash may consider changing back.
