My daughter is 4 years old and her skin is peeling around her finger tips like a blister. what would be causing this?

Ultimately: First thing to do is to remove the soaps she is currently using and any other cleaning substance. Replace it with allergen free soaps, no fragrance, see how she does over the next 4 days. In the meantime try and contacting your pcp just to get an appointment which you may not need.

Various causes: Peeling skin on finger tips can be due to dry skin, eczema, cold and dry weather, frequent washing of hands and contact dermatitis due to sensitivity to some chemical or substance fingers are touching....to name a few. Blistering may indicate some additional causes. Try using a skin moisturizer such as Eucerin or natural moisturizer such as pure aloe vera gel or coconut oil. If it persists> see Dr
