I did a search for diagnosis of some of my symptoms and came up with cirrhosis of the liver. what do doctors look for to diagnose it?

Ultrasound, liver bx: Cirrhosis can sometimes be diagnosed by non-invasive tests like ultrasound or ct scan. Sometimes a liver biopsy is necessary to make the diagnosis of cirrhosis. Other times blood work can show liver functions consistent with cirrhosis.
