Why, then a plan: 1. Get an eval as to what is causing the insomnia. A. Could be simple poor sleep hygiene - low exercise, late work shifts, screen time, caffeine, environmental cues. B. Anxiety, depression & alcohol affect sleep. C. Range of other possible causes. 2.Reach out to your primary doctor for an evaluation of these difficulties soon. Whatever the cause, your doc can help you move toward a solution!

Good Sleep Hygiene: 1. Keep a regular bedtime & wakening time (to include weekends). Get up the same time each day, regardless of what time you fell asleep. 2. Make a regular, relaxing bedtime routine. Relaxing rituals prior to bedtime may include a warm bath or shower, aromatherapy, reading, or listening to gentle music. 3. Sleep in a dark, quiet, cool room on comfortable mattress & pillows. >>.
