See a doctor: It sounds like you have an ear infection, most likely otitis externa (infection of the ear canal). If your ear has a lot of wax in it, it needs to be cleaned out and q tips may make it worse- don't use q tips for this! you can try topical hydrogen peroxide which may soften the wax and even help the infection, but for best results please see a doctor for evaluation and treatment.
