Have you ever had a patient with bells palsy and what do you think about them?

Yes: Depending on what is causing the bells palsy, i would hope to help them recover. Most people who have bell's palsy recover completely, without treatment, in 1 to 2 months. Few have permanent muscle weakness. Bells palsy should not effect emergency dental work if you were wondering about that also.

Yes: I typically see an event triggers the bells palsy. It is often a time when the patient is very stresses with work or personal issues. It typically resolves over time. You can get it more than once. Most commonly you will only have it once.
