How to determine the difference between a flea bite or a bed bug bite?

You might not be : Able to distinguish them. Both can leave red, itchy, swollen areas of skin. However the bed bug may leave a track of bites in a line. The flea does not do this. Fleas bites are likely to be more dispersed.
