How can you tell difference between chigger bites and bed bug bites?

Bites from bugs...: It may be impossible on the outset to tell the difference. But a good dermatologist surely should be consulted to know what and if there is any treatment other than time to help you heal. I always worry about secondary infections when there is a lot of skin injury.
