No, but........: Smoking does not make your teeth shift. However, over time, it might contribute to periodontal (gum) disease which eventually will cause bone loss, loose teeth and shifting.

Yes & no: Smoking increases periodontal disease and bone support loss for teeth. Both of these can be a reason for teeth to shift and move or eventually be lost.
