Couple of months?: There is one in four chance of getting pregnant if you have sex during your ovulation, so do the math. Ovulation period is roughly 14 days from start of menstruation if you have regular monthly periods. Have lots of sex in missionary position and relax you will be successful. Good luck.

Time will tell: Most fertility docs cite an average of 6 months trying before pregnancy. They would have you try for a year without success before considering it time for you & your partner to have an evaluation. Your obgyn could do some preliminary workup but would likely send you both on for additional workup.Babies require 2 fertile parents & both can have issues.
