That Hgb is: Slightly low for a young woman. With fatigue and hair loss testing of thyroid function should be considered. It is unlikely that this level of HGB is causing significant fatigue. You must know the cause of the anemia to make a treatment plan.

Find the cause: There's more going on here. You have an unexplained anemia, and you deserve an explanation from your physician as to the cause (iron deficiency? Thal minor? Other?) -- anemia treatment (if possible) depends on this. Anemia itself does not cause hair loss; if you have hypothyroidism, telogen effluvium or other disease of hair this is a separate diagnosis. Be proactive & get straight explanations.
