Mucus: It is common to have a sticky clear or white rectal discharge during bowel movements, especially when constipated. If the discharge is bloody or you continue to have constipation, see your doctor.

Depends: This could be excees mucus from inflammation of the anal canal secondary to the constipation or it could represent an infection. See a colorectal surgeon for a complete evaluation.
