How soon after drinking alcohol can i take antabuse (disulfiram)? i am concerned about eating in restaurants and getting alcohol in food. what about hair dye?

At least 24 hours: Wait at least 24 hours after drinking, to take any antabuse (disulfiram). If alcohol is used in cooking, it is generally burned off in the process -- no longer available as free alcohol to cause a reaction. Not so with liquor-laden desserts like creme de menthe over ice cream, etc. Ask for ingredients when ordering. Do not drink hair dye under any circumstances! used on your head, shouldn't be a problem.
