Antabuse (disulfiram): Drinking damages liver way more than Antabuse (disulfiram) does. Antabuse (disulfiram) is fairly low risk as far as liver damage. I would not compromise on drinking while on Antabuse (disulfiram) due to severe interaction side effects Antabuse (disulfiram) and drinking have. It looks, though, that it really doesn't work in your case if you're planning to drink while taking it. I would seek another way of quitting drinking.
