Concern, yes: Your epiglottis should protect your airway when swallowing, so that food does not get into your trachea or bronchi (leading to lungs). If a piece of food accidentally does do that, your system is built to respond by intense coughing to get it out. If you think something like this happened and got stuck in your airway, you do need to see a doctor asap. If lodged there, it won't leave on its own.
