Maybe non-drugs too?: There are a wide range of non-drug approaches to chronic pain too. Consider adding some into your pain cocktail to cover all the bases possible. Also, they don't have side effects and interaction problems. Meditation, hypnosis, behavioral changes, etc, here's a useful free resource for overall self-mgmt of chronic conditions.
