Still educate self: Ocd and ocpd are related disorders but not the same. I apologize if i mistook your previous question, and still suggest educating yourself about your diagnosis. http://tinyurl.com/lkpgpra also, be willing to consider how it's affecting your life and others around you. Some with ocpd feel their problems would be solved if others simply became more like them -- & may not see need for treatment.

Anxiety : Ask yourself about things that make you anxious. Anxious to the point of getting so caught up in the process of a task, that you cannot make a decision in a timely manner. If you can focus on these anxieties this should enlighten you considerably about what OCPD means to you. Therapy and medication combined is the best way to go. There's no real substitute. A surgeon cannot operate on himself.
