I have had chronic back, buttock, and thigh pain for 6 months and am already up to 12 norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) a day. i see a pain md next month. what can i expect?

Back pain: There is no mri/ ct of lumbo sacral area in your history. Have you asked yourself or your doctor what is the cause of this pain?Mri may be the first order your pain doctor would give to see any herniated disc, spinal stenosis, nerve compression, mass, spondylolisthesis or old vertebral compression fracture.
