Lately my left middle & outer ear has been aching. sinus related? bothersome. taking claritin (loratadine) for sinus . should i see ent specialist for eval.?

Middle-external ear: Do you have a running nose, ? or drainage from the aching ear? for how long has been the pain? Palpation of the mastoid does induce pain? Do you have palpable, tender lymph nodes. Most probable you have an otitis media and should see an ENT, have a full examination. Probably a bilateral MRI is indicated, if there is fluid would be nice to get a specimen and culture it.
